The word from the Mayor

I am pleased to announce the launching of the official village website.

How and why did it come about?

Desiring to reduce the Mairie’s telephone costs, we opted for a new operator.  However, to ensure the continuity of the Mairie’s e-mail correspondances, we had to find a web host that could reserve our village’s domain name.

We therefore chose an offer from a provider named "réseau des communes » who also offered the hosting of a website to be created. In addition, the new telephone subscription and hosting of the website have a much lower cost than the previous subscription.

I greatly thank Françoise VANDE MEERSCHE, 2nd Deputy Mayor and Frédéric GERILS, Councillor, for their commitment and investment in this superbe realisation that is now operational.

I also thank Olivia HENSHAW - LOMBARTE, Councillor, for her translation work.

I would like this site to be a platform for sharing and exchanging between our village’s inhabitants and a valuable source of information for Internet users who want discover our village and visit us.
